Being a teen mom is not what you think it is.Some poeple say that all teen moms are steriotypiocal teen moms, by steriotypical i mean: dropping out of school, making partys and going out a priority over the child(ren). Many may think that just becuase they have a kid at a very young age their life is over but really, its just beginging. Being a teen mom is not easy at all, being a mom at any age is not easy,but its dueable. Just because you have a child at fifteen or sixteen doesnt meant your life is over or you have to drop out of school. It just means you have to work a little harder at life becuase now you got more than just you to think about. many people like to watch those teen mom shows on mtv and such, you can see the struggles a teen mom has to go through. Its not easy but its not the hardest thing that will come your way. In America 3 out of 10 teens become mothers before the age of 20. That means there is approximatley 750,000 teen pregnancies every year, they cant all be and act the same way.
Everyone is entitles to their own opinion. Although, there is one thing about teen pregnancy that no matter what view the poeple have on it, its the truth, its a lot of responsibility. Being a teen mom is not a game, its something more real than reality. Even though 80 percent of teen pregnancys are not planned, its still time to take responsibility. Teens often find the responsibility of being a mom to be too much for them. They start struggling with continuting their education and maintaining a healthy life style. Only about 50 percent of teenage moms have a high school diploma or a G.E.D. by the age of 37. When interveiwing teen moms, about 20 percent of them say they worry about the futur of theirs and their childs. Some even said they have felt anger and reventment towards the infants because “their lives are over.” Even though the responsibilities of being a teen mom can be harsh and negative, they are a brighter side of the story.
