Is into many activities, a demanding career and juggling my own school and commitments makes the times I do have to travel difficult. When I visit our location in Fort Myers, Florida, I call it the sunny South Pole; it truly is a blessing in disguise.
I awake at 5:30 to enjoy the quite and peaceful time on the beach before my day begins. I start with a cup of coffee while sitting on the deck of the company’s apartment. While I take a sip of my hot caramel colored coffee, you can hear the waves crashing against the beach. The simple crashing of the waves against the beach is all you hear. As the sun slowly rises dressed in pink, yellows and different hues of purple the glimmer slightly encases the ocean as to say I am here time for all animals to awaken above and beneath my shinning light. The beach is sandy white with sparkles of seashells from many different life forms lying beneath its thin layer of cover trying to work their way through the tightly packed sand to work their way back to the beach to be free again.
The sun continues to rise over the ocean; my feet find the cold wet sand beneath them cool from the night air and the crashing waves of the dark night. My naked feet upon the sand feel refreshed like this is where they belong not too hot not to cold but just right for walking. I walk down the beach to where the ocean meets the sand the coldness of the ocean rushes over my feet. The ocean water so many hues of blue and the shells shimmering as the sun hits them as they are pushed through the ocean with each wave to be brought to lie in the sand for the day. Makes every worry, aggravation, frustration or indecision you might have wash away. The cold blue ocean waves...
