Its been said that the Oklahoma bombing and the World Trade Center where the worst acts of terrorism in the U.S., that’s because no one knows about Black Wall Street. It’s not mentioned in any history book, it was not in the news, and this country would rather no one know about Black Wall Street, BWS, has been covered up, taken from all counts of black history, if you type it in on the web, you get a record label. This is another black eye in American history, I ask myself why. Why was white America so afraid of Black Wall Street that it bombed and burned it to the ground! In 1921 in Tulsa Oklahoma laid
A thriving community of 15,000 affluent African Americans this city had over 600 businesses, 21 churches, 21 restaurants, over 30 grocery stores and movie theaters, schools, libraries, law offices, and a half a dozen airplanes. Yes anywhere U.S.A but only it was an all black community. Why was there not an outcry of disbelief and a national day of morning, and did the relatives of the descendent of Black Wall Street get paid for there lost’s in bombing of an entry city by it own government! 1,500 to 3,000 black Americans were killed about the same amount as the twin towers. Oklahoma was set aside to be a Indian and black state they elected there own governor and treasurer which happen to be black they received death threats for the KKK Mr. Mcdade was told if he took office they (KKK) would kill him with in 48hr. it was not uncommon for blacks to own there own farmland, and where into the oil business. Black Wall Street was a tight knit community self reliant on one another trading the dollar hand to hand.
