Fall from Innocence The Body was written by Stephen King.
Summary: The main character that suffers from this disorder is Pamela Tusiani. She was 20 years old when it started to get more effective and she was in college studying to get her masters degree in Baltimore. While at college she got her first mental breakdown. When her mom first heard about it she came in from New York to help Pamela through all the agony and medications and treatments they would make her take and go through.Pamela suffered with this disorder for 3 years after all the struggling and manipulation from the medications she got so tired of it all that she actually ended her own life. While Pamela was going through all of this to keep herself sane she had written down notes on note pads and what her day was like in her journal everyday. After her death her mom found all these notes and made this book out of it. She though that all of her own notes would make the book seem more real. It would bring the readers in more interested. Pamela explains in her journals what has happened to her what she has gone through and hoe she found herself in a hole. In one of her journals she actually writes that she finds herself in a hole and says “did i dig it, or was i thrown in, do i climb out, or does someone come and revue me.” The 3 year experience that she went through also went with the family suffering and Pamela suffering as well. Her disorder comes with depression, low self esteem, lack of identification, feelings of abandonment, and anorexia. Bea being her mother she feels as if she was a bad mom because she didn't notice or realize that her daughter had a problem. While Pamela was living with her mom, her mom would find her laying on the floor bleeding from her arm or leg from self harm because as Pamela called it she wanted to “feel something”. Bea would think Pamela would do this out of delusion or maliciousness.
Critique: My opinion on this book would be that i think this is a great idea...
