Braveheart is directed by Mel Gibson in 1995. The story was written by Randall Wallace. James homer composed music for this film. This film was made spending $53,000,000 and earned $210,409,945. The film won five Academy Awards at the 68th Academy Awards, including the Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Director, and was nominated for an additional five.
After Wallace’s father and brother were killed, he was adopted by one of his uncles. He returns again and starts an affair with Murron. When an English soldier attempt to rape Murron Wallace fights with soldiers and rescue her. Afterwards they capture Murron and sentence her death penalty. This inspires the villagers to rebel against the English and Wallace leads that.
Then he could conquest York town. Then he was knighted "Lord Protector of Scotland". He also wins the respect of young Robert the Bruce the chief contender for the Scottish crown. Robert is dominated by his farther and he bows down to English to secure the throne although his son admires Wallace.
Longshanks sends princes Isabella with a with a peace overture with the aim of invading Scotland and Wallace refuses that. Sympathetic to his case princes Isabella reveal everything. Then they begin a love affair and afterwards Isabella become pregnant. Two Scottish nobles betray Wallace when a new English army invades Scotland. Scottish loses and Wallace finds Robert helps the English. Finally Robert helps Wallace to flee away.
Then Wallace hides and fights guerrilla war against English people. Finally Wallace is caught in a trap set by Roberts’s father. Afterwards Robert stops all the connection with his father.
Ultimately Wallace is taken before the court and he is sentenced punish by pain. Afterward he was beheaded.
