The Pursuit of Happyness

"The Pursuit of Happyness" is a true story in our social life. The movie is talking about a man named Christopher Gardner. He has invested heavily in a device known as a "Bone Density Scanner". Gardner feels like he has made these devices. However, they do not sell as they are marginally better than the current technology at a much higher price. As Gardner tries to figure out how to sell them, his wife leaves him, he loses his house, his bank account, and credit cards. He is forced to live out in the streets with his son, he craves to get a steady job. Then, he takes on a job as a stockbroker, yet before he can receive pay, he needs to go through 6months of training, and to sell his invested devices. I have learn many moral values after watching this encouragement movie.
First and foremost, I learn social morality in "The Pursuit of Happyness". Social morality is the idea and belief those things required to achieve good conduct. It is how to behave yourself. Social morality has more to do with what is good and right for a society to do and how it should act as a whole. There is a part in this movie, Gardner asks an artist who is sitting on the street and singing to take care of his device, when he wants to walk into the company to interview as a stockbroker. Gardner sees the artist is carrying his device to escape from Dean Witter office while he has interview with Jay Twistle. Then, Gardner runs down to the street and try to chase the artist who steal his bone density scanner, but he fails to get back his device at that time. From this scene, I have learn to not believe the stranger easily, nowadays there are many liars in this society, we cannot judge the book by it's cover. As my opinion, the morality in our advanced society is getting worse, the people does not learn and care about the moral value. We should protect ourselves by gaining more knowledge and improving our own personality to be a better man.
