Japan is a Southeast Asian island country which is encircled by the Pacific Ocean and the Japan Ocean. And it also has several neighbouring countries including China, Korea, and Australia. As for the climate, it has quite noticeable change in the four seasons. Although Japan is a small country, it has a long history and unique culture. There are a lot of interesting places worth visiting in Japan. This essay will describe three places which are worth visiting; they are Tokyo, Kyoto, and Okinawa.
First, I would recommend visiting Tokyo which is the capital of Japan. This city is very lively and it has the largest population in Japan. It is divided into 23 wards and each city has a lot of fascinating markets, tourist spots, cafes, and restaurants. Visitors can enjoy sightseeing, shopping and eating delicious meals in Tokyo. It is an ideal place for shopping because there are many shopping centres throughout the city. In addition, it is the centre of the Japanese economy, so those who are interested in this subject can learn about the current economy.
Second, I think Kyoto is an interesting place to visit. This city is more traditional than Tokyo, and it is located in the middle of Japan. Many traditional and beautiful buildings stand in a row in this city. And there are also a lot of famous shines and temples, so visitors can enjoy sightseeing and learning about Japanese culture. If you visit Kyoto, I would suggest that you visit the Kiyomizu temple, which is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Kyoto. This temple is, in my opinion, definitely worth visiting because it offers visitors a lot of excellent experiences of the interesting aspects of Kyoto. It offers various types of written fortunes and a superb view; and it is also a good idea to buy a lucky charm in the temples.
