My trip, and my friend
Last year I traveled from United States back to my home county Serbia. With so much excitement, I brought my ticket three months in advance. Awaiting, anxiously I planed everything, even down to the smallest detail of how I wanted my trip to be, Even from the day I was suppose to leave I had a friend that was to pick me up and to take me to O’Hare at 12:30 pm Departure time was 3:00 pm, and I was to arrive at 2:00 pm local time.
When it came time for me to leave that when all my troubles begin, My friend who was suppose to pick me up at 10:00 gave me a call and told me that he was running a little late, because he was stuck in traffic. Finally upon his arrival I rush down stairs with my bags, and flew to the O’Hare and when I got out of my friend car to get bags I realize that I had forgot the most important thing my airlines ticket. As my friend was getting ready to pull off I quickly dropped my bags, and yelled stop! As I began to chase the car, my friend was frighten by my voice, slamming down on his brakes, he anxiously asked what happened! With no time I ran back grab my bags threw them in the car and said drive back to my house, I forgot my tickets!
My friend drove back as fast as he could as I set in the passenger seat praying to God that I make it in time to catch my plan. As sweat begin to run down my face that became the longest ride of my life. But I managed to make it home to pick up my tickets and back to the airport to check my bags and board the plan at the same time.
Upon arrival my friends awaited with smiles on there faces. My friend and me, we both like motorized stuff and airplanes. He likes to build stuff and I like to draw. He is a good drawer, too, and he can draw engines and stuff. We both go to the same church and a camp that our church sponsors. We both stayed in the same cabin with other kids who use to be in the same grade as us. We both like to eat, but he can eat a lot more than me.
