Dear Mr.Hale:

Here is our usability analysis of the school of architecture’s website. We carried out research for this report during the month of November. This report informs you of the perception of the website and gives you some recommendations for improving it.

The feedback from our test subjects suggests that the website has a lot of room for improvement. On a scale of one to five (five being the strongest), the average test subject selected “2” for the website having error free text. This is a flaw that can be easily corrected if one were to simply read over the website line for line, find the grammatical errors, and update an edited version of the site.

We used usability testing to conduct our research. The research process consisted of collecting data and formulating recommendations from the analysis of the data. Our usability design was broken down into the following four sections: pretest survey, think-aloud protocol, directed tasks, and post-test questions. Our test subjects consisted of a group of students attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas, who were enrolled in a technical writing course.

We enjoyed our work on this project, and feel we have produced some information that can really benefit you. We look forward to working with you in the future, and encourage you to contact us if you have any questions pertaining to our findings or recommendations.

Sincerely,

Jason Lawrence Savanna Reid Lisa Philips Rebecca Ormiston
