I am voting in November for two reasons. The first reason is because I am finally old enough to do so now that I am eighth teen. The seconded reason is because I believe this election is going to have a big impact on history and, I like the idea of being part of history. Weather Obama or McCain wins it will be a first either the first African American president, or the first woman vice-president. That to me is all the reason I need to vote. So who will I vote for and why that what I plan to explain.
Ill just say this first in November two thousand eight I will vote for the first time in my life. I will vote for the candidate that I agree with on many big issues and most other issues. The candidate I will vote for will make history when he wins. The candidate I will vote for I did not support three months ago but now I do. He was not my first chose but now I believe he is the best choice. The candidate I will vote for will bring change and hope. The candidate I will vote for is barrack Obama. So now I will explain why I am voting for Obama when I really wonted to be voting for Hillary Clinton.
First let’s look at the big issues. Right now the biggest things most Americans are worried about are the economy, the war on terrorism, and healthcare. So let’s see where each candidate stands on these big issues. If you ask any American today they will tell you there number one concner is the economy so let’s look at that first. “Cut taxes for 95 percent of workers and their families with a tax cut of $500 for workers or $1,000 for working couples. “(obama.com). on his website Obama says that he will cut taxes for most Americans. He also says that he will simplify the tax system. On the other hand McCain plans to create new jobs for Americans. “John McCain has a comprehensive economic plan that will create millions of good American jobs” (mccain.com).
