Things remain complex as we look in 2 the future as environmental problems build up human will respond in ways which we cant predict .The environment may bite back unforeseen new diseases and other effects on human health and reproduction . Population growth itself is not fixed it will slow down but how much depends on our actions . different rates of population growth make only small variations in the short run but the further we look into the future the larger they become . The yr 2050 is well within the lifetime of 2days children united nations medium projection for that yr is 10 billion ppl-4.3 billion people more then 2day this is the lightly outcome if we carry on part trends .
The low projection of 2050 is only 7.8billion which is 2.2billion less then the medium one . The difference is equal 2 the worlds population at around 1930. We could achieve the low projection if we placed in high priority on population activities and on human development focused on women the high projection is 12.5 billion – a massive 4.7billion more than the low 1 the gap is equal 2 a whole extra world as it was in 1984 if we continue to neglect women needs we might hit this
The low population projection(when compared within the medium)would leave undisturbed atleast 4.4million square kms of forests wetlands mountains and other wildlife refugees almost equal 2 all 2days forest in developing asia
Climate Link:- the differences for global warming wld be dramatic by 2050 achieving the low projection cud mean emitting 9.3 billion tons less carbon dioxide then under the medium projection this is almost 3 times the total emissions 2day from deforestation and other land use changes .recent studies show that global warming may increase the no o hungry in the world if co2 level doubles and population follows the medium projection then the no of mal nourished would rise to 823million by 2060 but with the...
