The Application Process for Prospective International Students 
Washington University defines an international student as a student who is not a citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.
The Application Process-At-A-Glance for admission in fall 2014
1. Common Application
The Common Application will be available online at www.commonapp.org on August 1, 2013. Washington University accepts the Common Application and requires a few simple supplemental questions (no supplemental essays).
2. Application Fee
The $75 nonrefundable application fee or fee waiver request from your high school guidance counselor is required. You may pay the application fee using a credit card when you submit the Common Application. If you prefer, you may submit a personal check in the amount of $75 (U.S. dollars), made payable to Washington University. Be sure to include the applicant’s name on the check. You should submit the application fee only once. Do not send cash.
3. Support Materials (freshman applicants)
In addition to the Common Application and Application Fee, you must submit the following supporting materials by the deadlines:
* School Report and Official Transcript
* Teacher Evaluation
* SAT or ACT Scores
