Working as a Team
The human being is complex when it involves working in a group. Everyone is made different and that’s the beauty of human nature as we all strive to work or live with each other. In trying to reach specific goals, people usually work in teams either as a family, at work or in class or in the community .In this scenario I will be discussing about how our learning team will use our team charter to improve our performance despite our individual differences in characters or skills. Teamwork is essential if we are looking forward to achieve a common goal. Despite our difference in personalities, a team can cultivate a culture of trust and respect. Dealing with three different personalities in our team, creating a team charter, would be an effective tool to ensure each team member is aware of various responsibilities and goals that is required for each member and the consequences to follow if one defaults on any of his or her responsibilities.
The team charter helps us to identify various skills and potentials of each team member. Every human being has their strengths and weaknesses. As a result the team charter will help us collaborate effectively by assigning different tasks to each team member according to their skills. As the member contributes effectively in the project, using his or potentials other team members may learn new skills as a result. Working together allows us to combine skills and talent with those of others to create new approaches to solving problems. Communicating openly and positively is another way in which using our team charter will help us achieve our team’s goals. Using all means of communication is reach a team member for feedback is an essential tool for team success. Team will discuss schedules and availability of team members to participate fully in the project.
