Being a man of change. Malcolms ‘s life went thought various phases, that new a complete changes on tree levels; beliefs, thoughts and action towards the society, how can appreciate this character?
Malcolm X was born Malcolm little to an outspoken Baptist lay preacher in Omaha on the 19 th May 1925. Malcolm ‘s father was a member of the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA). This got him into trouble with the Ku Klux Klan and after the family were threatened they moved to Lansing, Michigan. In 1931 Malcolm ‘ s father was found dead by streetcar railway track by the Black Legionnaires, which made Malcolm ‘s mother became insane then she was sent to the State Mental hospital, than Malcolm and his brother sent to different foster homes.
His aspiration of being lawyer were “No realistic goal for a nigger” Malcolm ‘s teacher said. This was the basic cause for dropping out the school at the age of fifteen after being the top of his class in the Junior High School. After that he moved to Boston to live with his half-sister, where he became involved in drug dealing, gambling, and robbery. Tree years later he was arrested for burglary. Thus, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Where he started to read voraciously and developed astigmatism. During this time his brother wrote him about the new organization with new teaching “the Nation Of Islam” (NOI)to which Malcolm subsequently converted.Being a man of change.
