Critical Thinking Paper

Critical thinking is described as a purposeful reflective judgment concerning what to believe or what to do. In an ideal situation individuals and groups would use the critical thinking process in regards to all personal and business decisions and situations. Prior to the use of critical thinking it is important to develop thinking it is important to develop core critical thinking it is important to develop core critical thinking skills which include interpretation, analysis, inference, evaluation and explanation. It is extremely important that a critical thinker give consideration of evidence, context of judgment and any relevant criteria available. Critical thinking not only involves the logical explanation and view but also involves intellectual criteria such as clarity, credibility, accuracy, precision, relevance, depth, breadth, significance and fairness. Critical thinking requires persistent effort to examine any belief or supposed form of knowledge. Critical thinking also requires the ability to recognize problems, find workable means for meeting those problems, gather relevant information, recognize unstated assumptions and values, clarity, and discrimination, interpret data appraise evidence and evaluate agreements. Critical thinking can occur whenever one judges, decides or solves a problem. It is a process which one needs to constantly work on and develop over time.
Currently I am employed with T-Mobile, I have worked in the wireless sales industry for over thirteen years and have held the position of retail sales manager for five plus years. Critical thinking has been an important skill I have developed and continue to develop on a daily basis.
