1. In the Philippines, do we still need a government? Why?
Yes, Philippines need a government. Every country/state needs a good government. A government is a body that has the power to make and enforce laws within an organization or group. Just imagine a country without a government? There's no one to follow. Yes, people will have their freedom and this freedom would lead to deception.
We need a government to keep the territory held together, a more perfect union. We need government to protect us from law breakers, to establish justice. We need government to protect us from foreign invasions, provide for the common defense. The purpose of a government is to provide for the safety and protection of the citizens. A government also has the obligation to protect the rights of the citizens.
Government is a necessity to man. Every one of us should live according to rules. It will be fair for all of us if we’re all going to follow someone who has a higher position than us. Peace and order is very important in a country and we could only achieve this by having a superb government, a very trustworthy government.
2. How can the people participate in this “influence” in the Political System/s?
There are plenty of ways for us to contribution in the political system of our country. It is important for us to impart ourselves especially in these kind of things. I could say that the Philippines being a democratic country gives us an ability to perform as very helpful citizens in our nation.
These are just some of the seemingly endless number of opportunities to participate in the political progress.
