Savanna:

A savanna is a rolling grassland scattered with shrubs and isolated trees. Savanna averagely receives fifteen to twenty-five inches of rain a month. The latitude of savannas is between 15° south and 30º degrees south. During the summer savanna temperature is between 25 c and 30 c. during the winter the savanna is between 20 c and 25c. The top animals of the savanna are the African wild dog, black mamba, lion and the Nile crocodile. The top plants are the pine trees, palm trees, shrubs, and acacia trees. A major city in the savanna biome is Ethiopia, Africa.

Tundra:

Located at latitudes 75° to 90° north, the tundra is a vast and treeless land. The tundra receives between 15- 25 cm of precipitation. During the summer the tundra gets as low as 3 c and as high as 12 c. during the winter the tundra is between -28c and -50c. The top animals of the tundra are the artic fox grizzly bear, polar bear and the caribou. The top plants of the tundra are the artic moss, artic willow bearberry and the caribou moss. A major city in in the tundra is Anadur, Alaska

Desert:

Deserts cover about one fifth of the Earth's land surface. Most desert are between 23.5 north and 23.5 south deserts have to have less than 10 in of rain to be considered a desert. The dessert temperature ranges between 72 f and 104 f. The top...
