Children’s Night Out
As a young child all you really think about is being outside with other kids playing and having fun. Never did you think about a night out past your bedtime full of adventures, or with your parents because normally they tell u to go to sleep around that time. Well one afternoon after a long morning of playing with friends, Brandon comes inside to hear his parents telling him to get his things, because he and Jimmy the next door neighbor was going on a night adventure. Brandon was shocked that his mom and dad were ok with them staying up late, especially on a school night. There was still sun light outside so the two boys and parents had a long time till night fall, but in the mean time while the boys were packing for one night. Both of the children’s parents came together on an agreement, since their children have been doing so well in school its ok for them to miss one day of school for a night of fun. Brandon’s father used to be in the military so he had something planned out for them, both Brandon and Jimmy looked up to him wanting to be like that one day. Now it was time said Brandon’s father, gave a kiss to his wife and said we will be back in the afternoon tomorrow.
Training is the main key to becoming a good soldier said Brandon’s father, as they went hiking through the woods to their destination. Living in the mountains had its advantages like hunting, hiking, camping, etc. especially since the woods were their back yard they new it more then others would. Coming to a fork in the path Brandon’s father asked which route would u like to go hard or easy? Jimmy yelled “let’s go the hard route” he wanted to show Brandon’s father that he was not scared but brave like him. He replied “Then that’s the route we will take” looking in the distance, not much into the trail they started hearing noises off in the distance. So Brandon’s father told them to be quite and to stay low to the ground as he went ahead to see what it was, and 10 minutes...
