College Tuition

Everyone always wonders how they are going to pay for college. Today college tuition can be very expensive. Did you know that the U.S has one of the most expensive higher education systems in the world. All colleges have different tuition fees. There is a lot of hard work and determination that goes into being a college student. Paying for college can be difficult. Students are eligible for financial aid, scholarships, and even student loans. Many students take these options and pay for their college.
One of the things students use to pay for college is financial aid. Financial aid comes from, FASFA, or known as Free Application for Federal Student Aid, the government pays so much of a student's college based on the income of the students family. The federal government pays for about 90% of a student's college. Many students use financial aid because they cannot pay for college any other way. Financial aid helps many people, whose dream is to go to college, achieve their dream. On the other hand, for some students their parents might make too much money for them to receive financial aid. There are a few more options the a student may pay for his or her tuition.
Another thing that is offered for students to pay for college is scholarships. Scholarships are made to support a student's education. There many different scholarships that students can apply for. One that is offered to students in Tennessee, who make a twenty one or better on the ACT, a college readiness test, is the Lottery scholarship. The lottery scholarship has awarded over 100,000 scholarships. When people play the lottery they are paying for someone's education. Student's have to maintain a certain GPA, grade point average, to keep the scholarship that was awarded to them....
