Project Concept and Executive Sponsorship
EBAY online shopping website is a shopping website database which is connected to thousands of physical stores around the world and contains millions of customer’s personal information world-wide. In the event of a disaster of any kind such a business or organization should be equipped with a disaster recovery or business continuity plan in order to keep order from within during the event of disaster while also trying to fix the damage which had already been done.
With the creation of Business Continuity Plans or Disaster Recovery there must be some sort of insurance policy put in action in order to protect the employees of the organization as well as the customers who help keep the business going when things are starting to fall apart. I think in order to get this plan into motion you need a type of firmware installed in-case of hacking, to alert the authorities of an attack. Then if there are a series of natural disasters that destroy servers, there needs to be a mobile device you can use to back up important updates and such in order to avoid months of backtracking and employee/customer information setbacks. I also think it would be best to have an insurance policy in place in case the information was to be stolen by hackers. These are just a few suggestions I expect a good corporate executive to send as instructions to the staff in order to maintain order in an environment filled with chaos.
