Introduction
For our Services Marketing project, we have chosen Faysal Bank clearing cheques service.
Clearing is a process in which two banks are included i.e. collector bank and payee bank. Collector bank actually collects or receives the cheque of other banks given to their customers and on the other hand payee banks are those receives the cheques and pays it after having all the necessary requirements. And in between both the banks there is a company called NIFT which assists both banks (collector bank and payee bank).
Faysal Bank provides services of Inward and Outward cheques clearing.
Outward Cheque Clearing
Outward clearing is that service in which Faysal Bank's customer deposit other bank's cheque into their account and then it provides the service to route their cheques for further process.
Inward Cheque Clearing:
In an Inward clearing, Faysal Bank's cheque is presented into other bank's counter and then it is further process for clearance. In inward clearing the Faysal Bank cheque is submitted by our customer to any other bank e.g. HBL or ABL etc.
