From Kick-Butt to Beautiful
Most people have had a favorite person in there lives that influenced them in many positive ways. That person in my life was, Mr. Stephen Kaminski. He helped me from the girl that would kick but the beautiful young lady that I am today. He taught me that is someone approach me the wrong way that it wasn’t worth getting suspended over. Mr. Stephen Kaminski my sixth grade teacher at Grace Christian Elementary in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
When I was in the 5th grade, I remember Mr. Kaminski taking the bad kids into his class because the other teachers could not control and those use to fight a lot. I would always see him rough handling those boys and throwing them up against the wall when they got a lot of line, or when the took the that they could beat up their teachers. Needless to say, I was scared of him. As I register for class and was going to met my teacher that morning, the secretary politely passed me a paper with my teachers name on it, she had a snickery smile on her face. When I opened it, I was praying that I did not have someone that was mean and gave a lot of homework. Sadly to say it read Stephen Kaminski, room 206. My heart drop, it was hard to believe, they put me in the out control kids class. As I walk through the door, I saw my enemies and began rolling our eyes at each other they got stuck with him to. Since I was very to bad and maybe fought almost every week and was in the principle office everyday defending myself from these girls. I knew right then that this was going to be long year.
As it drew closer to the first day of school, I was not too excited. I knew that I was going to the out control class and the mean teacher. I remember telling my mom the night before that I was not going to school. She told me that if I did not go to school. She was going to “whoop” my butt.
