WHAT IS THE GREATEST THREAT TO OUR WORLD?

Over the last decade, global warming has turned out to be a controversial issue as the effects of global warming have been proliferating sharply. Global warming leads to some negative impacts on people and the world we live in, but the most crucial ones are spoiling the balance of climates and decrease in sea-ice cover.
In the first place, global warming plays a vital role in spoiling the balance of climates. That is, while it rains heavily in summers, it may become extremely hot in winters or it may not rain even in summer on account of global warming. This situation results in shortage of water, which will cause drought. Due to drought, production in many industrial plants has been halted. In that, the soil loses its fertility and provides people no more adequate food and this will make people suffer from famine, which inevitably changes their lifestyle. Another effect of spoiling the balance of climates is health problems for people in poor countries. It is impossible to be healthy anywhere without water resources. People cannot clean themselves, cannot clean their food and so on; therefore, contagious diseases occur. Earth Observatory, which is a foundation in NASA, says “As far as human health is concerned, those hit hardest will probably be residents of poorer countries that do not have the funds to feed against changes in climates.”. In other words, rich countries may solve some problems with money but poorer countries have no chance to live healthily under these conditions. In addition to these, as a result of the spoiling the poise of climates nature loses its balance, which will lead to the death of many animals and plants. Because of these deaths, nature is faced with extinction of these animals and plants. Hence, food chain is disrupted due to the fact that lack of only one plant or one animal in food chain affects all other members of the chain. Everything has to change and this changing is...
