Human Trafficking

Abstract
Throughout the many years society has been more aware of human trafficking and the dangers that go along with this illegal act. Not only are people aware of human trafficking but organizations are also coming up with ways to prevent human trafficking and eliminate the increasing rate of abduction ever year. Human trafficking needs to be demolished now before things get worse.
Human Trafficking
To the judges of the United States Supreme court versus William Irey, who was accused of sexually assaulting over 50 underage children over a five year period starting in 2001, I have a quick question for you! Would you sell yourself to feed your family? Some of you might answer yes, but many of you probably answered no. Picture this, there is approximately over 13.5 children getting sold everyday. Keep in mind I said children, not adults or teenagers. This is organization is wrong, I stand in defense of those who poor souls who are stuck within the human trafficking system with no where to run. It is important to support those children in the trafficking system for many reasons. With no where to run these children feel like they are committed to stay, their traffickers (pimps), such as William Irey have made these children terror- stricken. Suggesting that if they do run a way or leave the industry their families and themselves will be killed. Another reason why this cause needs to gain attention is because with over 27 million slaves (dosomething.org), also known as trafficking victims around the world, you will be shocked to know there is only one shelter in the United States made especially for victims of the trafficking system.
