You wonder what is hypocrisy? First examine and do not kid yourself. Here I am just like you and everyone else. Let me explain hypocrisy. Examine yourself. Examine without falsification. Falsehood will do you no good. Put yourself in that other person that is hidden from the world and examine yourself.
Hypocrisy is lying. You probably say, “Oh what’s a little lie? Nobody will know...” Let me explain the consequences of lying. First, you make up something that isn’t true. Then you lie through your teeth and nobody ever knows. You feel guilty...sometimes. Then you do it again. And again. And again. And soon, truth has been ripped from your conscience because you decided to tell a “white lie”. The world is full of liars. They are like wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Hypocrisy is gossip. At school, hypocrisy is backstabbing your friend’s back because they have something you don’t. Soon, backstabbing becomes so normal, you know that person’s reputation will never be restored. Hypocrisy means your own reputation is ruined at school, at work, at home, and haunting you often nights in your sleep. Hypocrisy is worrying all the time because you cheated at school and you hope your teacher hasn’t noticed. Hypocrisy is when nobody ever really knows the real you because you hide it from every single person. If anyone knew the real you, it would cost you years and years of lies. Even more costly would be the multiple schemes and persons behind that one face. Hypocrisy is lying without speaking and acting without a script.
I have come out of my own hypocrisy to tell you this. Remember, i am just like you and everyone else. Others like us are all over. Look at every human being with an anger that will motivate you. Motivate you to change. The wolves are always silent. Are you too?
