The mission statement of Eastern expresses the vision and the major commitments that must be inculcated in every student who enters college. With the view provided by the institute I see myself in accordance with the mission statement.
I am an Indian, and I'm not acquainted with the Christian faith and service. Hence, along with all other visions one gain of getting to join Eastern would result in a more knowledgeable cognizance. I am a person who appreciates ethnic diversity and studying in a different country all together would provide an added attribute to my personality.
I am a person who enjoys reading and have excellent communication skills. I have been awarded the avid reader of my standard for three years consecutively in my high school. I was a prefect and the Director of the Interact club. I actively took part in social work while in the 11th and 12th standard. I was a debater and actively took part in debates and speaking competitions. I love the outdoors, being outdoor adoring the scenery, going trekking, also I have a certificate for a mountaineering course. I enjoy learning about different cultures. Coming from a country that has almost everybody coming from a different culture and ethnic background it would be more than enlightening to study and stay at a Christian college. I regularly donate clothes and food to the needy. I work with an animal ngo as well. Why, I would love to join Eastern. The criminal justice degree is exactly what i wanted to do since i was a kid. I joined Forensics because that was the closest it could get to working on this side of the law. Raised by a single mother I have values imbibed in me like a rock. I always go with what's right in any condition. Being honest is my strongest suit as a person and i never take stand for what's wrong. My goal in life is to be healthy and happy.
