A change in my life
Life is not something boring but it can be very interesting and wonderful. A lot of changes in life makes life more beautiful. In my life, I have move to new home for several time. From rural area to town, from town to small town, each time give me very different experience. However, my life change completely when I pursue my study at a place far from my hometown, which is Teacher Training College Gaya Campus, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. When I first knew about this result, I was shocked but in the end I take it as a challenge and decided to grab this offer.
My home town is Ipoh, Perak, a nice place surrounded with mountain. There are a lot of place of interest especially caves. I love my hometown very much. In my mind, Ipoh is much more better than Kota Kinabalu. Unexpectedly, when I first reach Kota Kinabalu, I was impressed by the facility and the comfortability of Kota Kinabali International Airport Terminal 1. Once I reached Kota Kinabalu town, the town is covered by sea on the left and mountain on the right, such a nice place! From that time, I knew that Kota Kinabalu will be the place that let me enjoy my life.
The greatest change in my life happened when I step in the compound of Teacher Training College Gaya Campus. I realized I am going to have university life. I have to become independent as my parents are not going to assist me on my personal stuff. While reached hostel, I starts to tidy up my room. I have to swept the floor, mop the floor, clean up the widow and fan. After that, I realized that I have to settle my meal on my own too. I walk all the way to Fohsang, a place not far from our campus. There is another changes that I cannot accept that is the price of the food in Kota Kinabalu as compared in my home town. The price of food here is doubled and sometimes more than that.
