The American Culture is really very different of Chinese culture. One o f those difference is evident in
their marriage. There are some differences that may appear in their life, based in their culture.
The first difference that may appear in their marriage is that for Americans is not important or very
important to get married virgin, but for Chinese people it’s a rule; even sometimes it doesn’t happen.
For Chinese families is a disrespect that their soon or daughter have sex before their get married, but in
the American Culture this is not something that really counts.
The second difference is related to how they react in front of divorce. In China, they have a higher
acceptance of divorce except when children were involved. In contrast o9f American that even having a
big percentage of divorces doesn’t accept very well the fact of to finish a marriage relationship.
The third difference that is very evident between these cultures is in the rule of the man and the woman
in their families Chinese people agree that the household chares should be equally shared, different
than some American’s man which think that woman have to take care of the family and don’t even
work.
In conclusion the differences between those cultures are perceptible and contradictories. I was really
surprised when I read these differences, because I became aware about those differences and it really
