It was a bright, sunny November morning in my hometown of Aledo,Tx. It was about 9am and I had barely slept the night before. I could hardly contain my excitement because soon I would be going to my very first concert that very afternoon! The only dreadful thing was the long drive. Now, this wasn’t just any old concert…oh no. This was Justin Bieber concert!!
I sprung from my bed and ran to my sister’s room. She was still asleep of course. I shook her awake and squealed with glee, “Can you believe we’re going to a Justin Bieber concert??!!” She slapped me with her pillow and mumbled, “Don’t remind me”. Now, let me be perfectly clear with you; I was 12 years old people. I was desperately in love with Justin Bieber and I will admit, I was pretty crazy when it came to him.
After dragging my sister from bed, I ran to the kitchen to see my parents cooking breakfast. “Well, someones excited”, my dad laughed. “You bet! Were is the concert again”? I asked. “San Antonio”.“Oh great! That’s gonna take forever!” San Antonio is about 3 hours from were I live. I was NOT excited for the ride. But, it will be worth it definatly! After I ate breakfast, I ran to take a shower. After that I looked through my closet to find something super cute to wear. “Hmm, what should I wear”? I thought to myself. Finally, after 20 minutes of searching I found some cute shorts and a sparkly shirt.
I brushed my hair and put a pretty pink bow in it and admired myself in the mirror. My mom came in my room and smiled, “Justin is gonna fall in love with you for sure”! I started laughing, trying not to blush. “Can I please wear makeup today Mom? Just this once”? “ Oh Mahley, you know you’re not allowed to wear makeup. You’re only 12 sweetheart!” “Yeah, but Chystal and Peyton do! Why can’t I?” “Honey, I’m sorry but you’re just too young. You look beautiful without makeup anyway”. “ I guess you’re right mom”.
“All right gang! Everyone in the car! Next stop San Antonio”, my dad shouted...
