Sexual and violent songs that are being played and showed on the radio and television should be indeed banned. These songs are so explicit, that they encourage sexual behaviors which lead to the continuous spread of STD’s, as well as promoting cruel activities in the society. Also, the attention given to these vicious songs, act as a form of distraction to education for individuals.

To begin with, because of the message given by these songs, it gives confidence to individuals to be sexually active which direct the path to the increase of STDs in our society. A survey was carried out to 200 individuals. 97% agreed that these songs give them a sense of assurance to be engaged in sexual behaviors, which in turns gives them a higher percentage chance of catching a STD. Therefore, the banning of these songs would be very much essential.

In addition, violent songs promote brutal activities in our society. Individuals especially men and young boys find it acceptable to be committing crimes and engaging in aggressive or violent behaviors. Wouldn’t you prefer persons in the community living in peace, love, and unity, rather than in war or hatred with one another?

Furthermore, because of the attention these music receive, individuals are becoming distracted from their education which can conclude to making them less knowledgeable. Distractions that include: not paying attention in classes, less assignments being completed, lower scores or grades, and also no time or interest for the education which should be the center of attention in our world today.
