Bill Gates was born on October 28th, 1955 to his father Wiilliam Gates and his mother Mary Gates. Little did they know that there baby boy would be the richest man in America and one of the most well respected businessmen of all time. Coming form a family of entrepreneurship Gates got a head start from the rest of the world and gained knowledge on how business was done and as early as the age of 13 he gained interest in programming computers and sold a software called Traf-O-Data to the city of Seattle for $20,000, which I found at Money.cnn.com in an article about how Gates came to be. He had begun business at this very young age and was the wisest of his entire highschool. After graduating Gates attended Harvard where his more commonly known life happened. In his first year at Harvard Gates was such a genius that he would sleep through the classes and still get A’s on the exams, and instead of those hours that he would have spent studying he spent Programming alanguage called BASIC for the MITS Altair microcomputer. Before graduating Gates decided to drop out of Harvard to start Microsoft withj his childhood friend Paul Allen . There plan was to develop software for the newly emerging personal computer market. Microsoft became known fo there famous computer operating systems and killer business deals.  For example, Bill Gates talked IBM into letting Microsoft retain the licensing rights to MS-DOS, an operating system that IBM needed for their new personal computer. And Gates went on to make a fortune, over 50 billion from the licensing of MS- DOS. On November 10, 1983, Microsoft formerly announced Windows a next generation operating system which then quickly spread throughout the US. He said in one of his interviews, Intellectual property has the shelf life of a banana. Meaning that technology is always changing and he knew it right from the start.
