Blood

Have you ever just glanced at someone and said to yourself, “There goes the love of my life?” Well that’s what happened here. It began on a cool summer morning while Kate was strolling thorough the park when she saw the love of her life, “Dan”. Danny all his other friends call him, is taller than Kate. He wears the same color clothing as her, red and brown. Danny’s curly chocolate hair makes his dark blue eyes make sunlight look like fog. The three dimples are shown on top of his freckles on his face as he smiles at the world. He usually is hanging out with his buds, so Kate can never get near him.

His left knee was bleeding scarlet, his shirt was torn from the gravel, and his right cheek was burned with an evil rash. Danny stumbled over and heaved Kate up from the wreckage. His bike was ruined, but at that moment in his life he didn’t care about his favorite sport. Danny’s dark brown eyes slowly found the tears falling from Kate’s, and their lips met.
Then that evening I found Kate being lead back to the house by a nice young man. I tried to get out some info, but all I could get out of my seventeen-year-old girl this day was that she was in love with Dan. The next day Kate told me everything and I was happy for her.
