E-education is a practical alternative to the classical model of teaching and gaining more and more support among teachers and students. This essay will outline physical space, time and classroom management in both traditional and virtual learning environments and analyse similarities and differences between them.
The process of teaching consists interaction of three entities. There are: student, teacher and educational institution whose task is to organize cooperation to the first two. Depending on preffered teaching method student is affected by a different incentives associated with a place of teaching. In classroom learning method space in classroom is isolated from the external environment which facilitates concentration on content and teaching processes. Moreover, the fact that a group of people staying in the same place work motivation and forces some degree of involvement. It is also important that participants of traditional teaching form relatively homogeneous groups in terms of age and educational experience. It helps teachers in adjusting teaching methods to the needs of group. last good feature of traditional class is its physical nature. In traditional way of teaching an education service is made more appealing to some students by material elements such as school building, uniforms or type of certificate. On the other hand wirtual class is characterized by very different characteristics . First of all, e-education is an open system and diversity of learners is greater. It is undeniable advantage for educational institutions which may have more students. However it is also a serious difficulty for teachers who need to develop appropriate teaching strategies for people of all ages living in different regions of the world....
