The average marketing salaries for directors vary depending on company, experience, industry, location, and benefits. Companies are always prepared to pay competitively for the best people. Marketing directors receive an average of $93,472 in financial services and $93,000 while in publishing sectors salaries are much lower (Cline, 2010). The benefits of directors continue to beef up salary especially, in large organizations. The latest survey indicates that marketing directors receive benefits that are above their basic salary in the year 2003 with men receiving higher benefits compared to women.
