Courage
Courage is defined as the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery. There is a quote which is well-define by S Kennedy, which states, “Courage isn’t the absence of fear; it is action in the face of fear”. Everyone face complexities in our lives like becoming a failure or handling a situation that may arise between friends. However what sets daring people apart from cowards is stamina. Being able to go and face difficulties and disseminate them with zeal and power. Having these traits are very hard to find and many people cannot tell you straight up that they have them because so many of them are afraid of problems. As for me, I think that I am a very courageous person. I feel that I able to conquer any challenge that may come my way.
One reason I feel this way is because before I came back to college, I felt that I was too old and wouldn’t be successful in the classes. However, I made up my mind that I wanted to be a better person in life, and the only way this was going to happen was if I came back to school to further my education. At first, I was indecisive about what I really wanted to major in, but after many thoughts and prayers, I came to a decision that I would come back to school and take up Business Administration, given that I did this type of work while I was in the military. The first day of class was hard for me, but while being in school, I have done really well, and feel confident that I did make the right choice.
Yet another reason I feel I am audacious is because, when I was growing up, I was always the person who would have to bring peace between friends. Whenever, my friends would fall out, they would always come to me with their problems. At first I was fearful, because, most of the time I would be threaten if I talked to the other person that they might have been upset with.
