An issue is an important question that is in dispute and must be settled. A problem is a state of difficulty that needs to be resolved or a question raised for consideration or solution. There are many problems being encountered by managers due to managerial dysfunction. Managing and supervising people are not easy jobs. What are some of the issues at Kudler Fine Foods? After viewing Kudler Fine Foods strategic plan I noticed several issues. One of the issues at Kudler Fine Foods is dealing with unpreserved and fresh goods. This issue causes them to change their inventory more often than other food and grocery businesses. Another issue is their location. The store in Del Mar doesn’t get the support it deserves because it is located in a small town although the economic demographic is met in the area. High pay roll in the specialty shop is another issue. The company employs bakers, butchers, and wine steward meaning the pay roll in higher than companies paying clerks and stock personnel. It is hard finding candidates to take the jobs of those people if one quits, gets fired, or when the company opens a new store. The company is already paying below average so they allow their employees to take home some perishable goods along with a paycheck for their services. Other issues are small management team with lots of responsibilities and their geographic expansion limitations.
