How to Manage a Family

Keeping your family in order seems impossible when you have to bare seeing the same people everyday. The fact that each one of those people have their own special way of annoying you is just a bonus to your misfortune. Still, the house is actually pretty easy to handle once you calm down and realize what each family member wants from you. As soon as you figure that out, the eighteen years of being stuck in that household will fly by with pleasant results.
Mom and Dad are the most annoying no matter which child you are in the family. Mostly because they’re the ones who set the rules for as long as you’re under their roof. But keeping them happy is actually easy. Most parents will accept you no matter what you do, as long as it’s legal. Which basically means if you don’t get in trouble then you won’t ever have to see there bad side. But that just leaves them neutral towards you; if you want them to actually be happy, then you have to do a little extra. Parents want to know that their child is doing better then other children, because it makes them think that they’re doing something right as parents. Bringing home better than average grades in every class always puts a smile on Mom and Dad. This gives them more confidence towards your future. There’s nothing more in the whole world that a parent would want then to know that their child is bound to succeed in life. Talking to them occasionally makes them happy. This lets them know that no matter how old you are, you still want their input and opinion. The fact that you’re going to them for something other than money makes them feel special, because you chose them over anyone else available to talk to. Getting highlights for sports at school will always make you’re parents happy. It lets them know you have a talent, but not only do you have a talent, you’re better at that talent then others.
