Out of all the new country singers to emerge in the early 1980’s, George Strait stayed the closest to traditional country music. From honky tonk to western swing Strait did not refresh these genres he revitalized them into a new decade. George Strait is my favorite country singer, not only do I love his voice, songs and overall story, he is one sexy older cowboy.

The first twelve paragraphs of the article is the biography of Strait. Twelve paragraphs may sound short for such a great country artist, yet each paragraph is short and straight to the point.
