This article will analyze the Ukraine Russia incident with the European Union’s opinions. From European Union’s website, “the EU is a unique economic and political partnership between 28 European countries that together cover much of the continent.” European Union (EU), international organization comprising 28 European countries and governing common economic, social, and security policies. Originally confined to western Europe, the EU undertook a robust expansion into central and eastern Europe in the early 21st century. The EU’s members are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

European Union is definite as an intergovernmental organization. The integration of 28 European countries become powerful to influence the region or even world political because they share the likely same benefit and opinions in most of issue in the world. Unity is strength, the same external policy provide a large bargaining power in international stage.

In Ukraine-Russia incidents, Ukraine and Russia are a part of Europe. Although they are not the members of it, however, these two countries share the large region in Europe that European Union cannot ignore it. Generally, the conflict of these two countries will affect the regional stability of the Europe and also the conflict will affect the the benefits of Europe such as economics benefits, social benefits, and the strategic interests. Therefore the European Union is a shareholder in this incident.
