Gun Control
After taking the time to read the article on Do Gun-Control Laws Control Guns and taking the time to think about the things that are wrote in this article there are a few things that I find to have so reliability, credibility, and validity, in the data used by the author. When the author stated that “gun-control advocates claim, gun-control laws really do control guns and save lives,” I do not agree solely with this statement because even though there are law that are in place we still have people getting guns whether they are legally getting them by taking the proper steps to obtain a gun license or illegally getting them, the gun laws still are not saving lives. There are people that have been convicted of a felony and they still come up with guns. I do fill that there is a need to put a limit on how many bullets should be in a magazine and that there should not be any type of magazine or any type of gun or shotgun that can shoot 30 or more bullet at one type because to me that is killers overdrive when someone take the time to shoot an animal or a person that many times. No one or nothing deserves that type of punishment.
It is important that we take the time to sit back and look at gun-control for what it is. This law is supposed to protect us but sometimes that is not the case because guns can get into the wrong persons hands at any time. That mean that as a law abiding citizen is still in jeopardy of himself or his family being harmed by someone or even being killed by a person that they may have wounded because that person has access to a gun as well. It is very important that we take the time to get the knowledge that we need and stay up to date with all the laws that are in place as for as guns are concerned and what laws protect us such as the stand your ground law.
