Gun control is a very controversial issue. Is it helpful or not? Should we protect this 2nd amendment write or repeal it? Gun control is an unnecessary and unconstitutional idea that should be removed and stopped. Besides the fact that it is unconstitutional it is ineffective. Many studies have shown that gun control laws do not stop or even diminish crimes involving guns, in fact they increase them.
Many gun control advocates are trying to limit the number of bullets you are aloud to have in a mag. They say 30 is way too many for self defense and hunting. Yet they have o way of knowing this having never shot a gun
“Anyone who faces three home invaders, jeopardizing himself or his family, might find 30 bullets barely adequate. After all, not every bullet hits, even at close range, and not every hit incapacitates. You can get killed by a wounded man.”
“We cannot expect everybody to know that. But we can expect them to know that they don’t know — and to stop spouting off about life-and-death issues when they don’t have the facts.”
This is exactly how I feel.
Another reason gun control must be stopped. We as a society need to be weary of loosing 2nd amendment rights is because the 2nd amendment is like our last defense as a people agents a corrupt government. This understanding of how this amendment was intended is in complete opposition to the widely healed view that this was intended for early Americans who hunted for their food. That view is simply not founded in fact.
The main reason that the laws in question are ineffective is because if a man is going to kill somebody they do not much care if the means by which they obtained their weapon is legal or not . they will simply get them of the black market the only difference is now their target cannot legally defend themselves. Instead they may be more deterred if they knew that the person they are after is armed
Part of the reason that these laws are happening is because of the media. If they say...
