Introduction
I chose this project because I think that it is interesting.
Combine- to mix two things together
Problem
I want to figure out how cold or hot temperature can change the time it takes for red food dye to combine with water. I also want to see wich temperature will combine quicker.
Hypothesis
I think that the hot water will be quicker than the cold water at combining with the red food dye.
Materials

2 Plastic cups Red Food dye
Timer 2 ziplock bags
Procedure
Place Two clean plastic cups on a clean counter. Put one of the two ziplock bags into each of the cups. Let tap water cool with ice in it. Put the hot water into one of the bags inside the cup. Take out the ice from the cold water and pour the water into the other cup with the plastic bag in it. Using your timer, put one drop of red food dye into the hot water and time it for 15 seconds. Then repeat with the cold water. Record your observations.
Results
The hot water combined better with the red dye. In 15 seconds, the dye in the hot water combined about 30%. In 15 seconds, the cold water only combined about 25%.
Conclusion
In this experiment, the hot water combined with the red Dye betterthan the cold dye. My hypothesis was right.
Application
You could use the results from this experiment in medicine. It could be used to better understand how to combine different medicines.
