In this article the writers had done a research on the impact of human elements in the information system quality for decision making and user satisfaction. They analyse the elements in order to know the factors that gave the most impact to the information system so that an appropriate action can be done to develop new software.
The most important role of an executive is decision making, where the result gave the impact on the long term performance. The key to an efficiency decision making is an easy access system. While for the user satisfaction, if the system give the unreliable information which to be used to support user decision then the system did not fulfilled the user satisfaction and it considered as failure.
For the quality dimension, system quality and service quality was the factors that are related to the successful system. Information quality is critical for the organization because it is a way of surviving and giving a competitive advantage throughout the world.
This article has stated that ‘the human factor is the key to the design and successful implementation of the technological devices’. Human are the important resources in the organization. The three main points of human elements in this article are Manager Support, User participation and lastly programmer skills. They conclude that when each of this three elements are at the high level, the Information quality, system quality and services quality are also at the high level.
During the analysis they divided into two variables which are independent variables and dependent variables. Manager support, user participation, programmer skills, information quality, system quality and services quality are in the independents variables.
