Keeping teachers in school Would Be a Disaster
Recently, a group of teens spoke before the city council in banishment of teachers. The teens, many of whom were joined by their parents, asked voters to provide $100,000 to replace teachers with computers that will help the students lives in understanding and learning, clearly better than a teacher.. While many people spoke against this measure, keeping teachers in our schools would be a distaster for the students.
First of all, keeping teachers in our school would interfere with many thrilling educational and cultural opportunities we can enjoy. A computer during school, instead of giving us something new to learn, it will give us a lot of games to play with and enjoy our lives . I myself would love to play instead of learn.
Second, teachers would cause a deadly epidemic of mental distress to us by constantly shouting. That would greatly damage our ears and minds. Today, many of the young people in school would end up in hospitals after listening to the teachers lectures for ten minutes. they would collapse on the ground as their ears begin to bleed. this has been nuisance to many hospitals who have submitted many complaints about it. But if a computer replaces a teacher, we could lose all this unhealthiness we’ve come to suffer . a computer with its gentle ‘computerish’ voice will clearly solve the problem as we have now the option to adjust the voice of lectures or even mute it.
Third, the money required to pay teachers could be better used for more important projects. I’m sure you have all seen the terrible fading paint on the school which don’t have enough money to spare because of paying teachers. Computers who only have to be bought once would greatly solve this issue financially, and economically.
In conclusion, I hope you’ll agree keeping teachers in school would send the wrong message to everyone. Just think: computers would give the teens of our city a variety of recreational opportunities....
