McBride Financial Services goal is to be the leading provider of low cost mortgage services. Located in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota (McBride, 2005), McBride offers many services such as credit reports, appraisals and low fixed rate home mortgages. McBride holds to the philosophy that their customers will receive the most efficient and effective processing of mortgage applications from inception to closing (McBride, 2005). This marketing plan will show how McBride plans to reach their company goal of breaking even in six-months and be profitable within one-year. Their plan will cover everything from the beginning to the end of the project, to include web site upgrades and marketing, which will build a larger customer base.
Mc Bride has the goal of breaking even in 6-months and profitable in 1-year. This can only happen if they retain their customer base and find and inspire new customers. In order to attract a larger customer base McBride will research their customers needs. By conducting research, McBride will have “…demonstrated a keen understanding not only of the consumer but of the consumer's life and how our products fit into it. From innovation in database marketing to drawing on youth trends in the interactive space, the concepts spanned a spectrum of relationships with consumers and retailers” (Stengel, 2005). McBride must first understand the market and where the customer fits. Once the company knows the wants and needs of the customer, we can tailor our business and marketing to better satisfy them. McBride will then use and or create company resources to fulfill the customers’ needs. The research goal is to understand the customer’s use of our products.
