Objectives
The Purpose of this lab is to analyze different categories of Performance Management on the Network. We measured network performance by looking at Network throughput, delay and network efficiency. We also analyzed throughput and delay for different frame sized on the network.
Problem Definition
The data in this lab that will be reexamined to compare Network delay, throughput, and efficiency for different frame sizes (256 byres, 512 bytes, and 1,024 bytes) on the network.
Methodology and Procedure
We configured the network with different frame sizes. We also configured traffic generation parameters and traffic generation auguments for the network and duplicated for each frame size. We then configured the network statistics for throughput and ran all three simulations.

Questions and Answers
Based on the interarrival time used in this lab (0.005), the number of users (10), and the frame size used in each of the three runs, calculate the following (see pages 13 and 14 of this lab for example calculations).
1
 1. How many total bits/sec for the network would you expect to be sent for the frame size of 256 bytes?
4.096 Mbps
 2. How many total bits/sec for the network would you expect to be sent for the frame size of 512 bytes?
8.192 Mbps
 3. How many total bits/sec for the network would you expect to be sent for the frame size of 1,024 bytes? 16.384 Mbps

2. Use the Scenario > Switch To Scenario option, and go to the PK256_100Mbps run. Select View Results from the toolbar, and select Global Statistics > Traffic Source -> Traffic Sent (bits/sec). Set the view setting to AS IS, and select the Show tab. Copy and paste this graph to your lab report.

After you copy this graph to your lab report, repeat...
