Observation Project Report on Sunday Worship Service

I went to Korean church on Sunday morning that I am attending to. There is a worship service every Sunday at eleven o’clock. For this report, I started to observe the worship service while I was attending the sevice. The reason that I chose this church to observe is that I thought it was going to be interesting. I usually attend church, but I have never described how people in there worship, pray, and praise. As I thought before, it was very interesting, and I found many interested things that I did not know before.
Worship service starts at eleven o’clock every Sunday. I arrived there before ten minutes of the service. People were gathering ono by one. When almost people were there, it seems like a hundred fifty people and the church was almost full of people. The worship started with praises. Ten people came out to the front. There was a praise team leader who is with an acoustic guitar in the middle, two vocals each side of him, and five people were instrument players. There was a drum right next to a platform. The drummer looked very young like a high school student but his eyes were passionate to praise God. The electric guitar player was standing in front of drum and the basist was right next to him. They stood face to other people who are attending there. And there was a keyboardist in ther first row of people, so she faced to the worship leader.
They started to praise with quite song. Almost of them were singing togather. Some of them closed their eyes and they looked offering a most reverential prayer. With the end of the quite song the fast songs started. Everybody stood up from their seats and started to clap their hands. With the beats of drum, some of them followed the rhythm and some of them were dancing. They all were looked very happy and joyful.
