What I want in a Life Partner…
Has one ever imagined what it would be like to have the perfect life partner? Everyone has a different outlook on what they actually look for in a companion. When you go to choose that special person, in most cases you must think about more than just yourself. The best looking, richest, and most popular companion in most cases is not where one always finds great happiness. In my search for my perfect partner I would need one to be loving, caring, understanding, and last but not least to be faithful.
When I speak of loving and caring, I am not asking from one to be on my hip twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. I am just asking for a little attention every now and again to reassure me of why I chose this quality in my companion to be my perfect partner. I want to be loved like I love them, and am cared for also, in the same manner.
Understanding is often a hard thing for one to do at all time. I know we do not always understand everything that our companions choose to do and what may come our way, but one must do their best. I have a two and a half year old daughter whom I have raised alone and my perfect partner will need to understand the situation of her not ever being around a father figure, she may do things that neither of us may understand. I try to keep in mind that some things take time, and when it comes to joining a family and with a child that is not your own, can definitely take some time to adapt.
When one speaks of being faithful to each other, that does not mean ever now and again, this means for as long as you are together. Being faithful is a big phrase, but one should not have any trouble being faithful to that special someone you have chose to spend the rest of your life with. In these days and times, it is very hard to find someone you can trust and will be faithful and not break at the point of temptation.
