Should Cloning Be Legalized
There have been numerous disagreements on the subject of cloning. Cloning is being used to attempt to help the nation with severe problems. Although a minute amount of experiments have been successful, cloning still is not beneficial to anyone. There have been several researchers trying to clone humans, but there are a numerous amount of problems with cloning because it is an exorbitant process, if they clone too many the population will be overflowing with the same people, and they can run the risk of something going wrong with the clone.
The first problem with the duplication of humans is that this process is exorbitant. The money for the procedure will have to come from somewhere, so that means they would raise prices and taxes on the citizens. The outcome of the citizens paying for cloning would be that other more important things will be forgotten about. This process will hurt the whole world economic wise.
Although money is a serious problem with cloning, the problem of having no kind of diversity in appearances is just as crucial. Cloning can run a high risk of not having different ethnicities. By performing this process most people will look exactly the same. The people and the law enforcement would never know who the real person is so if the clone were to commit a crime the innocent person would be blamed for it. The people that love to have their individuality will not be able to enjoy that because everyone will look just the same. This is a very serious problem that could become worse over time.
On top of not having diversity in appearances, cloning also can cause serious bodily harm. The cloning process runs a tremendous amount of risks in effecting the body. By performing this procedure the real persons’ body and the clones’ body can become deformed, and they could end up becoming extinct because of the deformity.
