Discipline
The teacher was energetic, lively and conversant. She was paying attention to student’s answers and was able to give correction to student’s grammatical errors. Though, the teacher spent a lot of time on the warm-up part. Asking the student some irrelevant questions and the student wasn’t given enough time for feed backing and for correction at the end of the lesson.
The lesson was only for a maximum of 30 minutes so the teacher must be sensitive with the time. A brief introduction within 2 minutes or a simple and relevant question for the warm-up can do the trick. Moderate corrections and clarifications must be given right away. The teacher should provide simple yet precise sample sentences for the new vocabulary aside from explaining its meaning. At the end of the lesson feed backing is essential. The student will be guided for the things he/she learned during the lesson, reviewed mispronounced words and the meaning and usage of the new words.
